Who Killed Mateus?
6 influencers. 1 murder. Can you solve the mystery?
As part of the Multimedia Design subject of the 4th year of the Faculty of Fine Arts of The University of Porto’s Communication Design, this project was created as a cybertext, whose goal is to form an interactive relationship with its users.
Creating a social network inspired by Instagram, we used the various ways of posting content to tell a fragmented narrative, one to be unveiled and solved in its integrity by the user.
We invite the viewer to become an active part of the story, based on the Murder Mystery format, and to play detective to find out who is behind the murder around which the story unfolds.
When you get to the latest post, you have the option to click on a link and fill out a form, in which you can share your theory with us about the killer's identity, technique and motive.
By using humor and satire, we make a cultural and social commentary on the new digital celebrities of our times, creating six stereotypes of the influencers we encounter on the social networks we use daily.
